Bottle: Poured a rusty orange color with a thick creamy light brown head. The aroma is a citrus orange fruit with a hint of spice. Sweet malt flavor with a dry fruit finish.

Bottle at home, from cracked kettle. Dark orange colour with fast-receding top head. Fruity and alcohol scent. Tastes of orange, apple and mangos. Sugary with a bitter finish. Suffers some from overpowering alcohol taste. Still quite good but not near Hercule.

Pours a nice orangish golden brown. Nice tropical fruit and sweet malt on the nose. Great full mouthfeel with a good dose of sweet malty goodness with a touch of heat and ripe fruit.

Christian (11548) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 17, 2007
Poured a very unclear orange, with a big but disappearing off-white head. Fruity aroma with fresh plums, peach, mango, coconut and some alcohol. Very unique flavour that seems to try and find the middle ground between dubbel and tripel - dry, with a mix of dark dried fruits and fresh ripe fruits, a peppery finish leaving no aftertaste. Alcohol is very much in the foreground and along with the strongly sensed dryness suggests a recipe with a little too much sugar. Even honey perhaps?

Bottle. Cloudy brownish beer with a strong head. The aroma is lightly spiced and slightly mulled, the flavour is quite strong and warming with winter fruits and spice. Overall a nice beer.

Ours poured almost like wine, without a head and very glossy. Next to no carbonation. Aromas are also very light, red fruit and nuts, with a slight malt backing. Very tasty, however there is little finish on the palate, the beer almost disappears at the finish. An education in a glass, however.

From the bottle this pours a cloudy deep amber body with a massive fizzy head. Doesn’t last too long, tho’. Nice aroma of toffee and juicy stoned fruits, both blended pleasantly with a mild nutty/earthy bitterness. Tasty stuff.

Pours a cloudy amber into a Trappist glass. Offwhite head quickly subsides to create an oily surface fuzz. Date and plum aromas. Oily and tickling with upfront sour pit fruit and a lasting caramel finish.

Bottle. Amber colour with a huge white head. Rich aroma and taste of malt, fruits, herbs and hops. Great beer.
