Rated on 4-01-2009 (Flip top bottle) When poured, this beer has a large ivory fizzy head with a short retention, visible carbonation, spotty amounts of lacing, cloudy brown with gold tint body. The Aroma has a hint of caramel, mildly malty, citrus and fruity. The Taste is malty, lightly hoppy, fruity, and the ABV comes into play. The Palate is smooth and this is a light bodied beer. All-in-all, this beer is quaffable, the ABV is at the forefront of the taste and provides a warming sensation as the beer warms up. I would consider drinking this beer again.

Murky amber/brown pour with an average slightly orange head that leaves a good blanket of lace. The nose seems fairly wheaty to me. A lot of banana and light spice. Caramel bready notes as well. A little subdued all around on the nose. It’s quite a bit punchier on the palate with a real cinnamon flavour, some graininess and something just a touch vegetal.

Hazy amber body with huge foam. Aroma is malty, with honey sweetness. Light yeasty character in the background. Taste is malty with belgian yeast tones upfront, honey sweetness and bitter after-taste. Body is full, fresh with medim carbonation.

Smells super malty, lots of caramel. Pours cloudy ochre with minimal head. Taste is very sweet and caramel. Goes down smooth and creamy.

Bottle at home. Hazy copper pour, thin white head. Aroma of spices, honey, nuts, some alcohol, ripe fruits and peppery. Flavor is slightly sweet, somewhat spicy bitter and well balanced. Low carbonation and a smooth texture. Nice brew.

Smells of vinegar and phenol. Small white head, poor lacing. Fresh sour taste. A bit bitter and a bit swet. Frail and watery body, but interesting palate.
