thewolf (3392), Kolding, Denmark May 8, 2008 Bottle. [thank you, dedollewaitor]
Pours hazy orangey amber with a smallish, creamy off-white head. Aroma is lightly oxidized, good spiciness and a slight yeasty fruitiness. Rather high carbonation, yet still rather firm mouthfeel. Flavour is sweetish, lots of malts, ripe bananas, heavy spiciness. Rather sweet, but the dry spices help balance it well.
BoBoChamp (255), Gent, Belgium Jul 22, 2008 33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex brew, balanced, hazy, rocky head, good brew Scauca (213), Lovere, Italy Jul 21, 2008 Very nice appearance hide a bland beer. Yeasty, some spices, sweet maltiness. Boring. Pwn3d (578), NYC, New York, USA Jun 8, 2008 Swing top bottle. Hued yellow/orange body with fine black-pepper-like sediment, awesome lace work. Musky caramel nose. Medium to thin body houses mellow caramel and yeast tones. Mouth has a a farmhouse funk and had an interesty tartar sauce mellowness to it. No alcoholic notes to speak of. Brewer101 (161), New Jersey, USA Jun 6, 2008 So not a bad beer. Ill tell you off the bat, the strange aftertaste, which seemed a bit skunked, really hurt this beer overall. It was a nice pour, great lacing with a golden orange coloring, good head and nice yeast sediment. the aroma was of caramel and malt. the flavor was mainly caramel, but left that strange aftertaste. not bad, but like i said, held back by the aftertaste. jredmond (585), New Jersey, USA Jun 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours dark orange hazy body with small white head. Aroma is yeast and alcohol. Taste is smooth with caramel malt aftertaste.
