COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden Australian-style lager with a full malty-body offset by mild bitterness and a lingering mouthfeel contributed by imported Australian hops.

Draft at the brewpub, July 2006. According to the beer list, this is an Australian style lager - I had no idea that there existed a style called Australian Lager - so this is a first for me...

A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with slight notes of spices and fruit. The flavor is sweet malty, but also with a spicy note from the hops - a bit like the lite beers a la BMC - which I don’t like. And no wonder the body is thin.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty grainy flavor. Has a sweetish malty fruity grainy finish.

Malty, funky vanillaish flavor. A little grassy on the aroma. Very standard pale ale looking.

Golden. Taste is bitter. Nothing really stands out in this brew. But I do give them props for trying an Australian style beer.

a touch darker than the kolsch... pale golden with a tiny bit of sluggish lacing. sweet grainy aroma with hints of diacetyl. the palate is a touch sweet with some grassiness, grain and a slightly bittered finish. diacetyl doesn’t really show up here oddly. light bodied, crisp, meh. 5/3/5/3/9/2.5

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Australian-style Lager. Mildly sweet, with a touch of nuttiness. Nothing extraordinary, relatively balanced. A little sourness in the finish. Decent session beer, nothing more.

Golden yellow color with no head. Minimal aroma of some hops and malts. Tastes of malts with some hops. Nothing impressive, but not revolting either.

On tap @ the Brewpub-Moderate golden color w/a slight white head. Had a floral nose to it. Another pretty average brew at this brewpub, some hops, some grain, and again, some interest, but not much. Thin watery mouthfeel w/a weak, stale finish.

Dark gold, creamy white head. Light buttery flroal nose up front that fades into a dreid fruit and earth finish. Similar flavor with just a touch of peppery hops, and hints of earthy nutiness added to the mix. Nicely balanced as it seem pretty much like a light pils of sorts. Light bodied, light carbonation, soft bitter finish. Might be good with some hot wings, but truly not my thing...
