Very malty, almost too much so. Did not get any hop flavor in this beer’s profile whatsoever.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 LordHedgehog (144) - Westminster, Maryland, USA - JAN 23, 2004
A sweet malty boch, pleasant and gentle on the tongue. Slightly light in color and body for the style, but definately boch in taste. A nice brew.

Lacking a bit in aroma, this one has some very nice malt characteristics. It starts out with restrained melon fruit (which works better in a bock than you would imagine), but the malt becomes more characteristically caramel as it warms. Good bock, I should say.
