COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our newest addition to our family of craft beers. A light golden ale, crisp on the palate with a refreshing blueberry aroma and flavor. Surprisingly different that most people expect. A sure winner!

12oz bottle pours golden with a short white head and lots of carbonation rising to the top. Aromas of blueberry over some crisp grain. Flavor is exactly that. Blueberry blended with crisp grain. I donít think the flavor seems as artificial as others here make it out to be. It blends pretty well with the grains and slight grassy hops in this one. Almost like a pilsner blended with blueberries. Kind of interesting.

Bottle, courtesy of Hogtown Harry. Light yellow, small white head. Fake blueberry aroma - weird, it is almost like a blueberry extract or something. I donít mid it, but only when it was ice cold. Same thing goes for taste - ice gold, I liked the light ale / blueberry thing (I like blueberries to begin with), but as it warms, yuck, artificial blueberry fruit beer madness. But as a summer quencher you could do worse. Just remember the ice and youíll be fine.

Bottle courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a very pale yellow-gold with a small diminishing white head. Aroma is big time blueberries, like a blueberry muffin to be exact, weird, not sure if I like it or not. The blueberries in the flavour arenít quite as in-your-face which is a good thing, thereís still lots there but you can actually taste some Wheat beer in there as opposed to the aroma where all I got was blueberries. Light bodied. Itís alright for what it is but you damn well better like blueberries if youíre going to drink this sucker, cause subtle it ainít.

the blueberry taste and smell definitely stand out. not a bad beer by any means, just a little different taste than most beers.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2007 blueberry overwhelms at first taste but balances out a bit as you make your way through the glass. the wheat flavor follows and is subtle but a nice complement to the tart of the blueberry. would be good after a meal or on a summer afternoon - light, sweet, refreshing (although as another post comments, a bit perfumy).

This beer is so good. Put a couple western new york blueberries in it and have a frosty mug near by and your in for a good night. You might end up loving your grwoler like you love your babies momma.

Bottle courtesy of Hogtownharry: Poured a light yellow color beer with a small pure white bubbly head with no retention or lacing. Aroma of blueberry syrup is pretty gross with some faint wheat also noticeable. Taste is totally gross with too much bad blueberry syrup (shouldnít blueberry beer be blue instead of golden yellow?) and some weak wheat with a big watery finish. I am usually quite fond of fruit beer but I had to pour this one down the drain.

Not much to look at, pale with no head. Blueberry and citrus aroma, mild blueberry palate and crisp clean finish.

Courtesy of Santa. This should be listed under Southern Tier as that is the brewer listen on the bottle. Very clear light, pale yellow with a limp, pinky sized, bubbly white head. Aromatic blueberry aroma is strong even froma distance, but up close it gets a bit stale smelling. Tastes like leather, pipe tobacco, mild cigar wrapper and blueberry. Somewhat spicey and definitely zingy, carbonation wise. Very light body. Mild blueberry sweetness in the finish.
