Draft at Cole’s in Buffalo. Pours near black with a creamy tan head. Sweet aroma, with chocolate, caramel, some fruity hints at cherry, and vanilla. Creamy body. The flavor is sweet milk chocolate with a very restrained cherry fruitiness. Roastedness is very mild as well. Very low on bitterness. Well crafted and very drinkable.

On tap at MacGregor’s. Pours a beautiful creamy milkshake like head with lacing that did not last long. Aromas of milk chocolate, tootsie rolls and cherry. Flavor has plenty of chocolate a good cherry presence. Three days ago I go all the way to Ellicottville and they were out of this. I come back and find it right here in my back yard. Good stuff, can’t wait to have again.

I got this stout at a local warehouse where they have a bunch of taps. I was pleasantly surprised how easy drinking it was. As I tend to rate taste only, I can confidently state that this beer tastes great. Yeah, there’s a lot of smells and tastes, but bottom line, it tastes great and is easy to drink. Not overly heavy, but still interesting and mildly "chewy", this stout is good for one or two pints. Not a session beer, but great on a cold evening in front of the television. Hope you like chocolate!

On tap at the Ellicottville brewpub. Poured a very dark, opaque colour. Nice creamy head. Aroma was a little of cherry, but not strong. Some chocolate and coffee of course. Taste was so creamy and nice, a little cherry but more chocolate and slight coffee. Just so nice, not too thick. Good stuff.

On tap at Ellicottville Brewery: opaque blackish brown with a frothy, creamy white head. Looks like a root beer float. Notes of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, sweet malts, slight cherry/berry aroma. Absolutely love the creamy texture and smoothness of this beer. I usually disdain fruit beers and have to say this is a really drinkable beer. Not too sweet, plenty of creamy chocolate that somehow comes off light on the palate. Likely dessert for some, but I was blown away not expecting a whole lot out of the style. Cheers EBC!

On-tap at Cole’s. Regular tap, although brewer recommends this at nitro. Dark brown body with brown head. Big cherry extract aromas. Chcolate syrup I can pour in myself. Artificial.Thinnish, fairly weak for an imperial stout.

Draught at Coles, Buffalo, NY. Pours black with an average size diminishing creamy tan head. Aroma is big time chocolate and only mild cherry, smells nice. Flavour reminds me of Youngs Double Chocolate, super chocolaty but with only a hint of cherries. Creamy mouthfeel for sure. Really good if you’re in the mood for this type of thing.

Draft @ EBC in Fredonia over the winter. Very delicious stout, very creamy taste. It was pretty sweet, but not overpowering sweet like some chocolate/fruit stouts can be. Very, very smooth.

Dark black with a creamy offwhite head. Sweet aroma, creamy chocolatey body. Flavors of dark chocolate and cherry cordials are intense. Great beer for dessert it is big on its flavor and depth but doesnt lose drinkability.
