This was fantismalastic !!! Such a great beer. worthy enough to share with your own father during campfire night. Another genuine beer from EVL.

Jan 28, 2008 Aroma, appearance, and taste are all mediocre. Comes across pretty smooth and light, but really lacks that bavarian malt flavor I was expecting. Folks I was drinking with (who know little about beer) found this one appealing.

Mar 12, 2007 A lager, not anything I would call a dunkel. Yellow with a bit of amber. Sweet malty, with Munich malts. Rather thin and not very good.

Aug 31, 2005 Updated: Dec 13, 2008[draft at MacGregor’s - Rochester, NY] Darker amber color than the Prince of Pale with the same head. A little sweeter in the aroma, with a touch more hops. The flavor is very sweet and malty with caramel and some hop notes at the end.
