3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sweet malty stick to your teeth with moderate bitterness that Simcoe hops dominate. Yes, hoppy, but a ’hop bomb’ of a beer may be a stretch.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at HOTB. Sweet sticky hop aroma. Pineapple and candied orange. Medium golden amber clear with thin white lacing head. Starts and stays sweet with tons of juicy and fruity hop flavors - pineapple, orange, and apricot. Medium-heavy body with medium carbonation. Delicious flavor, sweet with good hop flavor but not any harsh bitterness. Mild bitter after with sweet fruity lingering notes.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A: Orangish/Amber Hue, Passes Most Light, Off White Head Ring, Decent Lacing
S: Sweet Malts, Oranges, Light Piney
T: Malty, Sweet Oranges, Sweet Bread
M: Decent Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Sweet, Lightly Dry, Clean
Overall, a very sweet pale ale but does not resemble the name at all, you get a lot more sweet malty flavor than hoppiness.

Pours almost clear golden amber. Very little white head. Minimal aroma. Initial taste is a bit medicinal but that mellows out.

gold pour, about a finger of white head. Good carbonation, medium body, resiny. Aroma is ostly lighter citrus fruit. Lemon peel andgrapefruit up front, dry pine needles, bitter. A bit one-dimensional but a pretty good offering for those who like their IPA’s bitter.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at the Brew Pub. It’s called Hop Bomb and it’s not a IPA? The 8.8% ABV helped us to lose touch with reality. Good hop aroma, flavor.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught at the Brewpub, Fredonia, NY.
Clear golden colour with tiny white head.
Quite mild fruity hoppy aroma with caramel malts.
Dark and fruity hops and resin bitterness in flavour. it’s like Black IPA. Balanced.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
draft at Coles, Buffalo NY. Medium, somewhat shimmering copper pour. Pretty substantial piney hop aroma, big flavor with light chemical taste in finish. A tad boozy but overall a real nice hopped up offering from EBC
