Good malt and hop interplay, strong dose of hops, enough malt to keep it in check. Alcohol is pretty well hidden, fairly smooth body, quite drinkable for an I2PA. Quite good.

Thanks to July Secret Santa for this week. Pours a dried apricot color with a great one finger frothy head and nice lacing. Nose of musty hops, orange peel and peaches. Flavor is full bodied, with a pleseant malt flavor up front that turns into a caramel and sweet hop flavor....oranges, floral and grass notes. Finish is lingering and sweet. Thanks SS.

Pours a nice amber with a good hoppy scent and lots of lacing. The taste was very sweet. I think this was because I got an old bottle. The hops were real mellow and sweetness reigned supreme. I actually love this flavor, so it was pretty good for me. I really could drink a lot of this, but I suppose the hops are much stronger normally. I would like to get some more of this and try it again.

Tap: Nice amber color, small head. Aroma: Sweet, hoppy, crisp. Flavor: Excellent strong hops taste, alcohol, need to try again when I have more time to taste. Tried this without knowing anything about the beer or brewery and was impressed.

From a 22 oz bottle... Cloudy, hazy copper/orange color. Thin head that thins out and leaves a frosty lace. Very cloudy and thick-looking. The smell is strong, fragrant, flowery pale ale aroma. Citrus/orange pale malt. Deep, stingy dark malts. Smoldering, sour fragrance like a deep brandy. Complex, beautiful. The malt flavor is pure sour mash, followed by heavy hops. A blast of flavors: sour, rich, dark, sweet. Tons of bitter pale, citrus/estery hops. Lots of sour, bitter liqueur malts. The feel is heavy, thick and milky. This drink warms the insides like brandy. A hoppy treasure. One of the best beers I have had in a long time... maybe ever.

Bottle from blipp. A nice beer, but has a little age on it. Would probably have been great 2 months ago.

Bottle. Very clear amber body, off-white head, malty nose. Malty body with a lot of crystal, moderate bitterness, minimal hop character (some spicy notes, perhaps), a lot of alcohol. Definitely not a good example of the IIPA style; would make a decent barleywine, I suppose.

0.65l - Hazy orange with thin tan head, sourness and nutty yeast on nose. Flavor is not what I’d expect from an IPA. Drinks more like a sour ale. Nice product, but no IPA.

Bottle Pours a clear copper with a good creamy off white head. The head lasts well, but doesn’t leave much lacing at all. Has a candy sweetness to the aroma. Get hints fruits, spice and hops. The flavor is sweet with some dry hoppiness at the end. Has a dry texture. A medium body. Has a good carbonation. The finish is okay and the aftertaste a bit funky. Not bad but seems out of style.

Pours orange amber hut with minimal head. Creamy body gives way to tangerine, oranges, light caramel and faint bittering grapefruit. More sweet than bitter.
