Commercial Description:
The mocha Porter has a malty body with a lot of roast flavor. Some would discern it for a stout, but not so. Brewed traditionally to the style with a lot of chocolate malt. Many prefer we brew this year round, but it is usually only available Oct-March.

Red dark clear brown ale with a moka head. Slightly lactic chocolate. In mouth, nice chocolate, light fragrant hops, lighter bodied porter. On tap at McGregors in Henrietta, Feb. 4, 2006.

Draught at MacGregor’s in Henrietta. Black color with a thin tan head. Roasty coffee and only a hint of chocolate. The roast finish is very long and gets quite bitter.

(Draught) Sampled at MacGregor’s in Harrietta, NY. Thin beige lasting head with a near opaque brown body. Sour coffee nose and tonic flavour. Fizzy tongue. Perhaps a tad raspberry.
