Growler. Pours gold with an off white head. Sweet malt aroma with caramel and honey. The flavor is well balanced with sweet caramel and a bit of toasted bread, followed by a light hoppy finish. Very nice example of the style.

Had on draft @ the Ellicottville brewpub in Ellicottville, NY .. . i enjoyed this one- a very nice example .. . light caramel, a touch sweet .. . a good finish .. . this is awesome! .. . . Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren’t these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I’m accusing you of anything like that.

Bottle. There’s just a slight haze on this orange-yellow beer. The head is super sticky, clinging to the sides of the glass for dear life as it subsides. The aroma is fresh and snappy, the aroma of fall. This drinks with a crisp tartness, with a nicely balanced light malt backdrop, and finishes with a subtle, funky bite. Very nice O-fest! Crisp copper coloured body with a very thin off-white head that fades immediately and almost no movement at all - okay looking. Aroma of metal, a touch of malt and a few minor sugars - not much going on at all. Light-bodied; Metallic and slightly chewy malt note and a touch of citrus and some cleanser and just about nothing else. Aftertaste is pretty mild with some malt and a touch of alcohol. Overall, a pretty bland and uninspired beer with not much going on and not a great example of the style. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 18-November-2011 for US$2.55 sampled at home in Washington on 12-February-2012.

12 oz bottle from Cranbury BuyRite. Meh, this is lousy. Poured a flat orange/amber with hardly any head. Aroma of wet bread and slight nutts. Flavor of wet bread crusts, hint of citrus, and acorns. Watery mouthfeel with stronger carbonation. Skip this.
