12 ounce bottle thanks to Derek. Pours a clear orange color with a medium white head. The aroma is rich hoppy oranges and floral notes. The flavor is a smooth pale ale; lots of biscuity malts, some oranges and zesty bitterness. A nice brew. Very drinkable.

crhensel (87) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 20, 2011
Bottle into pint glass (5/24/10) Poured a clear amber with a very small off-white head that fell quickly. Nose was of malts and general fruit, with a very light hint of the hops. The drink had a bit carbon but that did not diminish from the taste. The drink was slightly sweet with the barely discernible undertone of a hop bitterness. Overall, it was refreshing, but nothing was here to make it really stand out to me.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours light amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is dusty, mildly spicy, stone fruit. Light stone fruit. Near med body. Flavor is sort of peachy over some caramel that develops into a bit roasty malt. Not strongly flavored, but what there is is nice. Finish is bitter and not exciting.

Yes, from a bottle. Smell of dull hops and malt. Dirty yellow. Taste is roughly astringent hoppy, but not the same as a IPA. Stronger APA. Decent sizzle. Smooths out a little near the end. Still has a longer hop finsih.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazed gold with a moderate off-white head that lasted until the final sip and left considerable foam all the way to the end as well. Pleasant aroma of fruity orange, lemon and grapefruit. Unfortunately, none of this fruitiness translates into the beer’s flavor. It begins with malt and dries out almost immediately, truncating the flavor and leaving this beer with no finish whatsoever. Disappointing.

Bottle. Pours copper/gold with a bit of head that doesn’t last. Aroma is dominated by malt, and fruit, with some caramel, citrus, peach. Light sweetness from the malt, very faint bitterness, but almost no hops to be found. Easy drinking and not unpleasant, but nothing special either.

Sample at Buffalo Brewfest. Poured a medium amber/orange with a small white head, decent nose of citrus and pine. Flavour was light, mostly hops and citrus with a little bit of malt. Ordinary.

Deep amber pour. The aroma is mostly dusty and bland. Earthy with a light dusty apricot flavour. Really bland though. Everything is just kind of muted with an overtone of diacetyl as well. Meh.

Copper pour. Hoppy nose up front with some herbal and citrus notes. I detect some light metallic notes as well. Flavor is very floral, medium hops, toffee, light butter, and almost a cottage cheese flavor...weird.
