Draft pour at the Elliott Bay Lake City Way pub. Pours a dark copper color with a fizzy head. Bready malts on the aroma. Smooth drinking bready malt forward flavor with a more dry cracker finish. Tasty beer that’s for sure. A bit of a nutty finish as well. Good beer overall.

Reviewed from notes. Bar pour yields no head and had a hazy reddish color with barely any lacing. The smell had a earthy / grassy / herbal / baked caramel bread. Interesting, to say the least. The taste was basically the same. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat there and was good for the style and to me. Overall, I say it was a decent amber that I might have again.

Clear lightish amber under a thin cap. Nose is a bit more grassy forward than I would imagine with semi bitter earthy nuttiness. Medium palate with a pretty one dimensional flavor profile of light amberish malts and a earthy bitter grassy note.

Draught in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color. Nose has some caramel and bread elements in there. Taste ends up being slightly sweet, and heavily laden with bread. OK, but nothing terribly special.

Tap at LCW.

Clear amber-orange, pine and some orange peel. Cracker flavors forward, plenty of malt presence pairing with a pleasant yeastiness that is a bit unusual for the style. Nicely balanced citrus/pine hops. It drink pretty good.

Draft @ Elliot Bay. Clear amber small head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, floral and pine. Flavor is sweet caramel malt with a low hop bitterness and very yeasty. Medium to light body. Another overly sweet beer without much hop bitterness.
