Very enjoyable, surprised it wasn’t already on the site despite many ratings for the new brewery, but I think a lot of folks skip browns for the porters and stouts. Don’t skip this one. Aroma was roast malt forward, nutty, bready, with light chocolate notes and some hop aroma. Head is off-white, and the beer is dark brown with amber tones. The flavor is sweet roasted malt forward with chocolate notes and very low bittering (a bit low for the style). Light grain and bread notes. Beer is med-full bodied with med-high carbonation texture with light warmth. Beer has a very smooth clean finish, quite easy drinking for the style, but could be a little hoppier in both hop flavor and bittering.
