Some chocolate malts and a touch of coffee/roast on the nose. Pours dark brown, beige head, great lace. Nice chocolate up front, moderately sweet throughout with a hint of earthy chocolate/roasted notes as well. Perhaps a light smoke. Body is a bit thin? Nice flavors, no flaws, not too mindblowing, but well done with a nice mix of chocolate/light roast.

Black colored with sparse bubbles. Little detectable malt aroma. Lackluster body with some wet shoe flavor and perhaps a hint of diacetyl. Not bad, but lacking roastiness or chocolate character. Some chalkiness. Bland and under-bodied.
