3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark copper and pellucid. White, frothy head that is almost creamy. Nose of citrus and pine. There’s almost a hint of cedar there. I have no idea why. Fruity with notes of oranges and a little of the pine comes through with the flavor. Sweet caramel malts and a touch of toasted malts. Finshes smooth and easy. I could drink this a lot.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Serving: from tap at Elliott Bay Brewhouse & Pub.
Aroma: moderate, piney hoppy aroma.
Appearance: very small, off-white, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Hazy, medium-amber body.
Taste: moderately bitter initial flavor, and moderately bitter and lightly sour, lemony finish with average duration.
Palate: medium bodied with dry texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: just another hoppy ale.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft in Burien (month or so back): Hazy amber with a nice head. Crisp. Very fruity; has notes of apple, pear and grapefruit. Finish was toasted and a bit stark, bitterness-wise. Hop aromas lacked depth. Says 140 IBUs, which is unlikely, of course, but it seemed more like 70. Slightly hot from the alcohol. Not bad, but definitely not my favorite from this brewery.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Peachy amber color with a thin head. This definitely screams hops from the first whiff, a stiff one-dimensional, but lovely, floral, leafy dose of Chinook. The flavor remains consistent with a full-press bitter, leafy, Chinook body and dryish raw hop bitter finish.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at the pub. Poured a dark, orange amber with a lovely off-white head. Left lacing as I drank. Aroma is hoppy with notes of grapefruit. Flavor is a little toasty and malty, but is all about the resinous, grapefruit hops. Very hoppy, but drinkable, with a pleasantly bitter dry finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
draft at collins. pours a fairly cloudy darkish amber. decent gray creamy head. nice resiny nose, some toasty malt, and, alas, butter. creamy medium body. nice roasty toasty resiny mid palate, too bad the butter shows up again. longish resiny finish. cut the diacetyl and this probably gains .6 or more. bummer.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This immediately followed the Pro-Am IPA at 70+ IBUs so my palate may have been a bit tired. Certainly bitter... This is hops all the way, but I’m surprised it’s rated at 140 IBU. That just sounds unpalatable. Pours a very dark brown. Tried to get a growler, but they were out. Probably for the best as this is best sipped in 10 oz. schooners.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amber colored beer, thin head.. Malty aroma of bread perhaps with a ton of hops, pine and citrus mostly. Super hoppy flavors of grapefruit and pine with a touch of caramel maybe. Nice and hoppy. Lingering finish.
