Black body with a thin ring and veil of head. Roasty and porter-like in the bouquet with a solid dosing of graininess with a whiff of smoke. Likewise, the body is grainy and porter-like with a dosing of black patent roasting. Lacking the slightest trace of Belgian twang. More akin to a run-of-the-mill American or British pub porter.
