Angeloregon (2002), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 24, 2008 Wheaten ale on tap at the brewery in West Seattle, WA--hazy, honey straw body with a minimal circular white head. Malty citrus, biscuit nose. Very tart and dry and almost Brett-like on the tongue. Citrus biscuit nose. Doesn’t translate to palate. Carbonic, prickly mouthfeel. With little character of finish. anders37 (2752), Malmö, Sweden Aug 12, 2008 Draught @ Elliott Bay Brewery and Pub. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a small white head. Wheat malty citrus aroma. Has a sweetish wheat malty flavor with some hints of citrus. Sweetish whary citrus finish. SuzyGreenberg (1043), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 26, 2008 draft @ west seattle brewpub - hmm, one of the stranger beers i’ve tried in a while; pale and very cloudy yellow; almost like lemonade and almost tasted closer to lemonade than beer, but even bad lemonade at that BrewDad (1691), Olympia, Washington, USA Oct 30, 2007 Draft - Brewery - Burien, WA
Aroma – Light wheat aroma with some slight clove and banana hints
Appearance – Light golden color, hazy, light head
Flavor – Good wheat malt, had a deep flavor with the malts and very little hop flavor
Palate – Crisp, clean and a good overall wheat beer
Overall –Nice wheat beer with some crisp flavors. This hit the spot
Bradrcr (617), Renton, Washington, USA Jun 23, 2007 On Draght at Burien Location. Aroma is light yeast forward, followed by malt and a light hop citrus. Beer is a pale, cloudy straw, with a low retention white head. Flavor is light, slightly fruity, wheat grainy. Texture is light witha low carb feel. Overall a simple, clean beer that could do with more complexity.
