Hazy gold with a doughy pale toast nose and a slight citric touch. Tastes a bit more citric than the nose with some sweet zest and a doughy wheatiness. Blandish.

Goodness, I’m the first review in nearly 5 years?!? Draught in a flight at the brewpub. Served with an orange slice. Pours a cloudy almost orange color. Nose has some slight citrus notes to it, which I was able to get independent of the fruit. Taste was rather light, actually, and I didn’t get much. There was a slight bit of sweetness, and something that resembled toasting. OK, but nothing great.

On tap at the West Seattle location. Pours cloudy gold with a thin white head. Soft aroma of honey and fruit. Medium body, rather light carbonation. Grainy wheat taste, grassy finish.

Pale yellow thin head. Soft wheat aroma, light citrus. Light wheat malt flavors with a good crisp hoppy biter in the finish. Rather noticeable carbonation. The finish has notes of lemon and flowers perhaps.

Hazy golden with a fleeting head. Has a yeasty citrusy aroma. Medium body. Fresh malt grist taste with a slight citrusy sweetness. Not that bad.

Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 24, 2008
Wheaten ale on tap at the brewery in West Seattle, WA--hazy, honey straw body with a minimal circular white head. Malty citrus, biscuit nose. Very tart and dry and almost Brett-like on the tongue. Citrus biscuit nose. Doesn’t translate to palate. Carbonic, prickly mouthfeel. With little character of finish.

Aroma – Light wheat aroma with some slight clove and banana hints
Appearance – Light golden color, hazy, light head
Flavor – Good wheat malt, had a deep flavor with the malts and very little hop flavor
Palate – Crisp, clean and a good overall wheat beer
Overall –Nice wheat beer with some crisp flavors. This hit the spot

On Draght at Burien Location. Aroma is light yeast forward, followed by malt and a light hop citrus. Beer is a pale, cloudy straw, with a low retention white head. Flavor is light, slightly fruity, wheat grainy. Texture is light witha low carb feel. Overall a simple, clean beer that could do with more complexity.

after4ever (6173) - Brier, Washington, USA - JUN 3, 2007
Draft at the Burien pub. Pours murky medium gold with no head and no nose. Big attack for a hef, mostly due to strong flavors (the carb and the body are fairly unexceptional). Intense clovey bitterness is right there on the attack, though. Manages to be interesting even though it’s pretty far out of balance and not that refreshing.
