3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Elliott Bay LCW. Aroma of vanilla, toasted oak, muted baking spices, pumpkin, some stone fruit. Pours opaque tamarind brown with creamy khaki head, good retention and lacing. Taste: baking spice up front and in the lingering finish. Baking chocolate; cinnamon bark; medium sweetness, nice roast bitterness, lasting alcohol warmth in the finish. Slick, oily texture, medium body, average carbonation. Overall: this is one tasty beer, and well above average in the pumpkin genre.

On tap at Elliott bay pub. Pours out pitch black topped with a tan head. Aroma of heavy burbon roast malts smoke and spice. Taste is as the aroma with a lot of roast malts chocolate burbon barrel pumpkin spice and plenty sweet. Very tasty.
