COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich, robust and silky smooth, this stout sports a malty aroma and mild bitterness from the roasted barley. Organic flaked oats provide a smooth lingering creaminess while organic vanilla beans impart aroma and flavor.

Oh my oh my, such a good stout. Very strong coffee chocolate notes, in a big malt body, noticeable notes of vanilla and barely top of this extremely smooth and creamy beer of glory. Also I would wear this aroma as perfume.

[2931-20100625] Sample. Chocolate tootsie roll aroma has a sweet roasty malt syrup note. Dark, dark brown body with a medium-lasting foamy light tan head. Lovely roast vanilla coffee chocolate bean flavour with a sweet finish and along roast malt aftertaste. Full body. Tons of vanilla, this one makes me smile.

2010-06-25. Black, modest tan head. Strong vanilla character in the aroma, muted malt. Flavour is dominated by the vanilla, but less pleasantly than in the aroma. Mild sweet malt core. Average palate is smooth but light for the beer. Okay, not to my taste. On Tap at NAOBFestival, Portland.

Tap @ Organic Brewers Fest... Poured near black and was bubbly, soda-like in appearance with a tan head. Aroma of vanilla, roasted coffee and grains. Tasted of dark chocolate, roasted malts and oats that offered a smoothness. Vanilla that lent to a smokey finish.
