Draught at the brewpub
Golden color. Light malt aroma. Some malt taste and a more interesting hopping, partially aromatic, well bitter.

Storm (2685) - Amager, DENMARK - OCT 14, 2005
On tap. Tasted during trip to california. Light clear amber colour with a fast disappearing head. Aroma of light nuts and fruit. Nice tasteful beer but very average. Some fruity in the finish.

presario (4137) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 14, 2005
Gold colour. Rough edge to the flavour. Chewy malt. Some hops. Has the northern US familiar vanilla flavour but lighter and with some interest. Not quite generic.

Dogbrick (4842) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 15, 2004
Sample at the brewpub: Light clear amber color with a thin white head and minimal lacing. The aroma is light malt and caramel. Thin-bodied and bland with a barely detectable malt and hops flavor. The finish is just a little bitter. Overall another subpar beer from Ellis Island.

BückDich (5467) - McCall, Idaho, USA - OCT 9, 2004
Copper bronze color, light head & lacing. Nose of toast & sour grains, a bit of celery. Tastes mild, a bit sulfuric and more grainy. Finishes sharp, eh, horrible amber.

on draft at ellis island: okay the best thing about this place definately aint the beer. clear tan color with little carbonation, very watered down not much in malt/hop character may be a little off smelling because nobody is drinking this stuff. for anybody that has been to ellis islan you know its an old off the strip shithole of a casino. the karaoke is the best in town, in a old lounge style atmosphere with die hard karaokeiers, they even have karaoke shows. its hilarious and free hor'dervs with you watered down beer, i think the beer cost something like $1.50 a glass, hell they might as well make it free as well.

Flat, flat, flat. Clear amber hue and virtually no flavor whatsoever, except some mundane caramel hints. Don't like any beers here.

Slightly sweet but not much flavour. No real head and served too cold. Finish was nothing special.

Typical looking for an amber ale from a brewpub. Drinkable but nothing special at all. Some moderate maltiness, can’t complain about the mouthfeel. Slightly tobacco smell, smoky texture - oh, wait, that was just what the air smelled like here anyway.
