One a number of house brews sampled on a recent trip to Vegas, with this one being one of the brewer’s latest entries, and honestly, my least favorite. On tap and poured to a large sampler/high ball glass, with a clear, deep golden hue, moderate, off white head foam, and spots and streaks of lacing. The aroma was some grain, and a little light fruit. The flavor showed some light hop bitterness, but thin body, and low carbonation. Not a lot of IPA characteristics here, with the IBUs low for even Pale Ale standards, and I checked the numbers with the boss. I hope for better the next time in town, since I really like this surviving piece of old Vegas, and it’s colorful brewer, Joe Pickett.

Draught. Pours a clear, hale, golden with a medium white head. Aroma is flowery and citric. Tate is flowery with some citrus, slight pine notes, not much in the way of a malt backbone, some straw in the background. The taste is very mild. Palate is rather light. As has been pointed out, definitely doesn’t feel or taste like an IPA.

This is not an IPA I repeat not an IPA, nothing in the aroma taste ... really nothing taste like an IPA. It is drinkable... actually probably the best ale they have. But that is not saying much. Pass!

Wow this is not good. Tastes almost like a cross between the Oktoberfest and the Light Lager I had earlier. Very pale in color. A hint of hops at the end. And off. Where’s the hops in this? And can we clean some lines please? The only beer I had today that didn’t taste sour was the Okto and it must be because it’s seasonal, so the lines had to be cleaned recently.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden, small head. Fruity, lightly peachy hops sits atop and mid sized rounded body. Theres’s juicy peach, some butter and apple. Balanced late bitterness. Realy harmonious, except for the butter and apple that wakes up as it warms. Drink fast and enjoy!
