Draft. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Light to medium grain aroma. Light to medium body with a thin smooth texture and soft carbonation. Light to medium sweet flavor with a light to medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. Soft beer that was worth having once.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a clear light golden color with a large soapy-foamy yellow-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was faint sour mash and odd vague hops. The flavor was very mild with a bit of sour mash and a semi sweet undertone. Short finish. Light body. It is what it is.

Tap at the casino/brewpub, 30/10/13. Dead gold with a trickle of bead and low white head. Wax and honey nose. Waxen, soapy, stale fat flavour with background tortilla and rice becoming dominant. Is this the IPA? Feels more like an IPA than the IPA did. Just about drinkable but pretty appalling.

A blonde lager with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with light hops. In mouth,a nice sweet malt with mineral notes, faint hops. On tap at brewpub, June 2013.

This is not good. Smells of butter and acetyl. Looks like pee. This has an extremely strong butter flavor. Couldn’t drink this at all.

On tap at Ellis Brewery in Las Vegas. Aroma is corn, appearance is very light pilsen color, taste is bare and light. Palate is crisp. Overall a winner in my book. I ordered a 24 oz and was only charged $1.75. One of the best deals and hidden gems in LV. My girlfriend loved it and thought it was too good to be true, however she is not a craft beer drinker and sticks to the wheat brews. I wish they bottled their beers and I was able to buy in Chicago region. Thes beer is on the same level as a miller lite, but a hand crafted touch.

One of a battery of large samplers of the beers on tap at the time of my visit, and generously offered to me by the brewer, Joe. The color was straw tone, with a modest amount of white foam to the head, and spots and thick ribbons of lacing. The aroma was a typical light lager nose, with light yeast, grain, and a hint of corn. The flavor was similar, adding very light hop bittering, low carbonation, in a thin body. Somewhat consistent with all of the Ellis’ beers. An ultra sessionable hydrator.
