3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 27, 2010
bottle from biershop-braugasthoefe.de. Clear deep golden yellow, large white head. Lovely hoppy nose, like all the other bottom-fermented beers from Ellwangen. Medium-bodied, malty base with some very aromatic floral hops. Malt-accented, the floral hoppy flavours support the malty sweetness of the beer very well. Another very nice beer from a great brewery!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MoritzF (7342) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAR 31, 2010
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big foamy white head. Slightly sweet pale malty aroma with a grainy touch and lighter notes of citric and herbal hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Pale malty taste with a tinge of residual sugars and light grainy notes; sweet-bitter malt-accented finish with delicate herbal hops. A decent example of the style. 31.III.10
