bottle from biershop-braugasthoefe.de. Clear deep golden yellow, large white head. Lovely hoppy nose, like all the other bottom-fermented beers from Ellwangen. Medium-bodied, malty base with some very aromatic floral hops. Malt-accented, the floral hoppy flavours support the malty sweetness of the beer very well. Another very nice beer from a great brewery!

BVottle: Greenish-golden, clear, bigger white - beaten egg-white like - head; grassy hoppy and distinctive pale-malty to grainy nose; moderate to solid sweet-bitter taste, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet-malty and also slight hoppy finish. Not so aromatic, but chunky.....

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big foamy white head. Slightly sweet pale malty aroma with a grainy touch and lighter notes of citric and herbal hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Pale malty taste with a tinge of residual sugars and light grainy notes; sweet-bitter malt-accented finish with delicate herbal hops. A decent example of the style. 31.III.10
