It’s warm golden with a creamy white head. The aroma has notes of malt, grain, caramel, fruits and a touch of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of grain, caramel, fruits and a warm and pleasant alcohol burn.

7/12/11/11/10/11

33 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 11.03.2013
Aroma has lots of grainy malt, some hay and hints of honey. Flavour has grassy hops, some grain and hints of honey. I am not a friend of heller bocks but these well hopped ones seem to work.

0.33 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Deep golden color. Sweetish honeyish aroma with some alcohol tartness and hint of herbal hops. Sweet honeyish and toffeish flavor with medium to firm herbal bitterness. Dryer finish with lingering bitterness and alcohol. Medium body. Alcohol is a bit too upfront but still quite typical to bock. OK rich tasting bock.

Bottle 33cl from Quack-duck many thanks. A clear yellow beer with medium head and good lacing. Aroma is sweet, very malty, toasted like, bit grainy, nice bock. Taste is very pleasant with interesting bitterness all on grain an malt side, a good heller bock.

bottle, kindly delivered by pivnizub! Clear golden colour, mid-sized creamy white head. Herbal hoppy nose. Full-bodied, intensive malty backgroundwith lots of hops that add a lovely herbal character. Rather hoppy for the style. A delicious bitter-sweet Bockbier. Great!

MoritzF (8250) - Bochum, GERMANY - FEB 28, 2010
(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet biscuity and slightly fruity malty aroma with floral and slightly herbal hops. Sweet flavour with a present bitterness, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Solid malty base with notes of biscuits and rounded herbal accents; almost dry sweet-bitter and herbal, minimal floral hoppy finish. Pleasant Pilsener-Bock. 11.II.10
