3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Volgon (2715) - Manchester, USA - NOV 28, 2004
On tap at the brewpub: Cloudy dark orange with thin white head. Bright citrus hops in the aroma, full bodied with soft carbonation, starts lightly bitter then gets more bitter. Very easy to drink.

My Bottom Line:
Citrusy, resinous hoppiness is balanced out by slick caramel malts in this smooth and approachable unfiltered India Pale Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the murky amber.
-The finish is quite resinous, but the bitterness does not overwhelm.
-Carbonation was quiet and the body plump enough to provide something to hang on to.
-A little more definition in the malt flavors and this would be a winner.
On tap at the brewpub.

Yep, that’s the name of it. Once you get past the fact that you’re drinking something they couldn’t even come up with a name for, it’s pretty good. Pours an amber like color with medium head and a good amount of lace. Sweet citrus hoppy flavor, not overpowering for an IPA but good. Bitter hoppy, dry finish. All in all though this is a solid choice and I’m sure I’ll get it again.

No Name IPA–on tap-pours a white head and slightly hazy amber color. Aroma is citrus hops. Taste is citrus hops-hint of bitterness, secondary malt-sweet. No real finish. Mild/minimum carbonation.

This offering from Elm City pours a cloudy dark orange that leaves a thin tan lace that is frothy. The smell is caramel, brown sugar, figs, a strong candy presence which is nice. The taste starts off with a lite bitter hop feel, followed by a spritz of fruity malt backbone for balance and it finished with a cinnamon/spice backdrop. I paired this beer with potatoe pancakes and apple sauce to help bring out the sweet, earthy, flavors in the beer.

(Draft) Amber/copper in color with a slight white head. Hop aroma and flavor are good; citrus/grapefruit, etc. Good balance. I try to stop for one of their "growlers" to take home each time I pass through town. Pub grub is not bad here either.

No,really that's it's name,"No Name". I guess creativity was really low the day it was tapped. Light copper in color with a small white head.Very little hop aroma.Moderate bitterness, toasted malt character, pleasant hop finish.
