Poured from tap to glass. Golden hue with creamy white head that lingered. Aroma is pine, citrus oil, pumpkin, straw. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry with a bitter following that extends through the finish. Overall this beer is interesting being a pumpkin IPA.

Love the creamy & smooth palate feel. Very good pour w/ good head retention. Tastes pretty much like a basic IPA. Finishes fairly clean. Not bad.

Tap at Tangle Town. Pours a low haze, bright golden. Higher carbonation with huge lacing. Nose is muted lemon custard, ginger, fresh lemon custard filled doughnut. Taste is soapy, biting, fresh lemon, lemon custard, lime peel, ginger. Palate is a bit vegetal in feel, stickier. Still, fairly nice albeit all over the place flavor wise.

On tap at Pony UES on Wed, 10.16.2013. Hazy piss color with white head. Smells of bright hops. Tastes like it sounds - a pumpkin IPA. Very low bitterness but retains a good hop profile to counter the pumpkin spice. I thought this was a pretty cool concept for a fall beer and enjoyed it.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of grassy hops, squash, citrus. Flavor of spices up front, sweet malt, citrus, very faint pumpkin. A little weird, not sure why but this isn’t quite an IPA nor is it a pumpkin ale...not bad to drink but just a little strange. 7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)

Pours hazy yellow Smell is mellow citrus melon. Taste piney and hoppy, IPA before pumpkin, but you get a bit of pumpkin on the tail. Medium bodied. Ok

Clear dark golden color with white head. Faint pale malt, vegetal, dry yeast aromas. Smooth medium body. Caramelized vegetal pumpkin flavors with cumin, misc. other unknown herbs and spices--good.

The selection of Elysian seasonals left over from a tap takeover made it hard to choose just one. I finally settled on this sessionable IPA. Based on the results I hope I get a chance to try more of them next year.

Aroma / Appearance - The cloudy peach base has a white papery head for company. Looking more like an IPA than a seasonal pumpkin beer it does not disappoint in the nose. Pumpkins flowering on the vine provide a late summery texture. Unlike many other seasonals the emphasis is less on the squash and more on the hops.

Flavor / Palate - Pumpkins, rosy floral hops, and a pleasant sweet finish highlight an all star release. The sweet finish contains traces of honey, almonds, and squash. Deceptively easy to drink this was not tough to finish in a short amount of time.
