2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle @ home, courtesy of my secret santa. Thanks bro! Pours a cloudy orange appearance with an off white head. Candy, orange zesty, floral, tangy, tangerine fruity aroma. Somewhat tart, banana, tangy orange fruity, fairly sweet flavor. Really didn’t enjoy this one.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz bottle, shared. Mostly clear, orange-gold color. Little white head, bit of lace. Smooth, lighter carbonation. This is an interesting tripel... Some interesting earthy notes here, along with the light spice that you’d expect. Dry texture. Light bitter taste, some spice. Interesting augmentation

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to a trade! pours a hazy orangish amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a decent amount of light fruit with a bit of tea, a sweet grain backing and a nice amount of sweetness. Flavor is sweeter with a good amount of grain and only a hint of light fruit and grassy hops.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
"Pretty nice beer though not a standout by Elysians hefty standards. the traditional aromas and flavors are all there...bubble gum and a bit of clove, with some light fruit and citrus, and it’s also got a grassy herbal bite, which is unique (but not something i;d want all the time. nice warming feel."

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz. bottle shared by DrSilverworm. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. The aroma is on the mild side, but does show some herbal, green tea, light fruity and light yeasty notes. The flavor was herbal, dry, mildly fruity, earthy with pale malts. An interesting spin on a tripel.

Draft at special brews. Pours a cloudy burnished medium amber with a creamy thin off white head. Classic green apples and sweet cream nose showing plenty of dust as well. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Dusty, toasty mid palate with apples and sweet cream, dark dusty finish. Solid tripel.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at Blind Tiger after the Wintersun / Eluveitie show with Andrew and Brendan. Pours a light golden body with tons of carbonation sticking to the inside of my glass - very weird. Aroma is sweet candy, light estery yeast. Mouthfeel is thin, bubbly carbonation with notes of light booze, sweet cloying candy, fruit, light breadiness and yeast. Another reminder of my personal disatisfaction in Belgian tripels.
