A nice, tight, dry and funky nose. Plenty of persimmon flesh flavour with all the sugar taken out. Dry and funky all the way through. Some graham cracker sweetness too. Really good. Estery fruit. Iím pretty impressed by this offering and the partnership of the yeast with this interesting fruit.

Gold with light Amber tinges. Light head. Very sour, yogurt, lemon, an odd flavor. Not cohesive.

From a bottle this pour is a golden color with a white bubble head.A lot of c02, tart and does have a persimmon taste.I opened this beer thinking it was going to be plain and itís not.I find this beer to be good as well I have been eating a lot of persimmons lately which helps it.

Draft at St. Augustine. Copper color thin head. Huge dried persimmon aroma. Soft silky palate, big bitterness and astringency fm huge persimmon, big tannins reminiscent of tea. Brett is just starting to kick in, but leaves its imprint by being bone dry. Is more bitter than sour. Would be curious to try this at different stages of its age and development. I totally understand this beer. It invokes the spirit of the persimmon, itís not something you would want to drink regularly, just like you would not want to eat persimmon regularly.

From 22oz bottle to tulip. Pour is a hazy yellow with a thick white head. Nose is light fruit, slight hop, earthy. Taste is light bodied, very sour. Finishes rough. Ok beer

On tap at St Augustineís in Vancouver. A pale amber beer with a bit of white head. Fruity on the nose. A very pleasantly fruity sour ale with, yep, distinct persimmon note. Highly drinkable for summer. 3.6.

On tap at St. Augustine's. Clear yellow gold, minimal cap. Aroma is fruity, melon, ritz crackers, slight funk. Taste is sweet and very mild tartness. Mild carbonation and dryness. Wet.

12 oz. on tap at Maxís. Surprisingly clear, golden orange with a lasting film of cream. Nose is wheat, light funk, honey and spice. Tastes of honey, white pepper, white wine, a bit of banana and earthy spice. Medium body is smooth with medium carbonation and a nice balance, but not much sour.

Lasting thin white foamy head atop a clouded amber body. Nose of lemon zest, honeydew. Very yeasty and tart, nice citrus front with a smooth vanilla mid palate. Finishes mildy bitter and dry.

Sample pour at a festival. Pours hazy gold with fizzy white head. Aroma is sour fruit, cereal malts, lemon zest, floral notes, light sugar, and faint oak. Flavor is malty with light sour esters, light floral hops, and faint toast; dry finish. Light/medium body and medium carbonation.
