2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Capone’s. Brown pour with a smaller sized off white head. Roast, chocolate and peppers. Not overly burning finish, but a burning pepper finish none the less that drowned out any other tastes.

Half-pint @ Chuck’s. Glad I’m not drinking a whole pint cause this is SPICY! Goes well with my sriracha laden sausage. This is crazy spicy.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle- Pours dark brown to black with a tan head that goes snap crackle pop until it looks pratically flat, I hate that. The aroma is strong in cinnamon, chipotle peppers, cocoa. The taste is a blend of cinnamon and chipotle peppers, wow, this has some serious heat. Chocolate comes through too, especially in the aftertaste, and lots more heat. Body is medium, carbonation is medium. Overall I liked this beer, one ugly beer, if they fixed that, this would score much higher I think. The heat isn’t for everyone, but I really dug it, without that, personally I would be looking at a much lower score.

Bomber poured clear dark brown with a lingering ring of tan bubbles. Aromas of dark chocolate, chipotles and cinnamon. Palate was medium bodied asnd smooth with a warming finish. Flavors of dark chocolate, chipotles, cinnamon and earthiness with a smooth warming lingering cinnamon chocolate finish.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a dark brown with a red tint a slim brown head which dissipates quickly. The aroma is strong chocolate upfront with a chili spice in the background. Flavour is very strong spicy pepper with a medium heat a hints of chocolate in the background but the pepper spice is a little to intense

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft… This beer rocks!… Pours pitch black with a small, creamy, khaki head. Excellent retention. The nose is a decadent mélange of milk chocolate, fudge, and deeply roasted malts. Medium-bodied with zippy carbonation. The flavor provides fudge and dark chocolate trailed by chili pepper warmth. Raspy, assertive chili pepper finish. World class effort!

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On draft and Interstate. Pours black with very thin head. Nose has chocolate, roasted malts and hints of pepper. Taste is dominated chili pepper, moderate heat, hint of chocolate and cinnamon. The heat was overdone in my opinion.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Decent novelty beer. Stout-like appearance. Chocolate nose with a hint of roast. The carbonation and extremely spicy chiles take some getting used to and a smoky overtone adds some complexity. Decent.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of chocolate, hot peppers, and malt. Poured very dark brown in color with a tiny, tan head that disappeared except for around the edges. Clear. Not sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium to heavily spicy. Tastes of malt, cocoa, roasting, hot peppers, chilies, and other spicy peppers. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt, chocolate, hot pepper finish. By far one of the better ‘hot,’ spicy beers I have had.
