Location: 22 oz bottle from Whole Foods - Bowery, 3/15/13

Aroma: The aroma is an excellent mix of pumpkin and cinnamon, with some other spices too
Appearance: It pours an orange color with a small off-white head and spotty lace
Flavor: Taste-wise, the cinnamon is quite present and works well with the pumpkin and light hops
Palate: The body is medium, it has a good feel, average carbonation, and a spicy finish
Overall Impression: This one is really impressive. It has to be one of the best pumpkin beers I have ever had, and I am a big fan of the style. Excellent stuff. The cinnamon adds a really nice component. Iím excited that I was able to locate a bottle of this one, and I hope they produce it again in the future outside of the Apocalypse series.

Nice Reddish amber in color. Good flavor and added pumpkin. This was full of spices and finished quite nicely.

Tap @ Fifteenth Ave. Hophouse... Poured copper orange with a thin, off-white head. Nose had straight cinnamon spice. Nice body, mild carbonation. Tasted mostly of cinnamon. One dimensional in that sense. Not horrible, but wish I could get more depth in its other aspects.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy dirty orange with a thin off-white head that disappears by the second sip and leaves very little lace. Very pleasant aroma of cinnamon and pumpkin with notes of vanilla, nutmeg and even a bit of graham cracker. The flavor is very similar to the aroma with the same components and is quite good. Very reminiscent of a pumpkin pie. Well rounded mouthfeel. Medium bodied. One of the better pumpkin ales Iíve had.

Iím running out of these beers, and itís a total bummer. Only 2 more beers of the apocolypse after this. So glad these have held up so well all this time, and would enjoy the hell out of it if Iím the last to ever rate this. Every time I think Iím doing something record breaking, I realize quickly that I am nowhere close. Maybe Iíll win this one. Pours a bright orange with an active fizz head. Aroma is like a cinnamon cookie. Snickerdoodle. Cinnamon spice flavor, slight apple, and pumpkin spice throughout. Bring this one back guys! Awesome.

Rated two nights ago as part of our annual pumpkin beer night. Bomber bought at Yokes Spokane Valley, thanks Anderson01! Pours hazy orange with a collapsing beige head. Aroma consists of nutmeg, cinnamon. Taste is sweet and meaty with a lightly dry bitter finish. Taste is nice and full of pumpkin pie flavor. Bittering hops start to reveal themselves in the finish after warming up a little. A really good pumpkin beer, but itís not pushing any boundaries like most of the beers in the Apocalypse series by Elysian.

Drought. Amber-orange color, beige creamy head, strong pumpkin aroma, low carbonation, long finish. Pleasing pumpkin beer, in fact best that Iíve ever had.
