3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Fields. Pours a somewhat hazy burnished medium brown. Dense and creamy tan head that sticks around for quite a while. Big caramel and balsamic nose, very tangy and almost fruity, but not quite. Creamy medium body with well-placed carb. Caramel and strawberries on the mid palate. Mild and sweet, showing residual sugars as well as yeasty tang. Fairly clean finish. Pretty hefty and sweet for being as refreshing as it is...or is that in reverse?
