pours an amber red with a bright white head that is full of large bubbles. the jasmine flavor mixed with the hops creates a curry taste in my mouth at first, but i got used to it as the pint went on. Really rounded out nicely towards the end and i could distinguish the jasmine from the hops. Creamy mouthfeel and a pleasure to drink.

V - clear orange, with a frothy one finger head and light lacing A - can actually detect the jasmine along with the hops T - hoppy and floral P - cream mouthfeel, very nice and somewhat unexpected from an IPA.

Sample at the Pike Street location. This brew is a clear light orange color with a medium thin and creamy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Sheets of lacing. The aroma is floral and herbal with notes of citrus in the background. Medium-bodied with a welcoming floral character (jasmine of course) and flavors of sweet toasted malt and citrus. Some hops are present as well. The finish is mildly hoppy with the jasmine flavor lingering. Overall this is an interesting beer, yet I am not sure if it is something I would want to enjoy as more than a sample.

Tap at Elysian Fields Oct-8-2007. Clear amber with little head. Good jasmine flower perfumy smell. Medium bodied. Nice taste is dominated by the floral jasmine with a strong pale malt base. Has a nicely bitter finish. If you enjoy jasmine tea give this brew a try.

Probably my least favorite out of the five beer sampler. I assume the flowery smell and taste was from the jasmine, but it was so subtle as to be barely recognizable. All other signature IPA flavor profiles were toned down as well, leaving essentially a watery shadow of what it could have been.

Gold orange color with a thin lasting head. Aroma of light mats with some floral jasmine. Lightly malts with a subtle breadiness accompanied by a lightly floral hoppy finish. The jasmine leaves a pleasant clean floral herbal flavor in the mouth. I like the drinkability on this one, although light, it is extremely pleasant.

Appearance: Pours a hazy, orangeish body with a small, white head. Smell: Pale malts with a touch of toffee coupled with a full floral scent of jasmine. Taste: Palt malts with a medium toffee-like sweetness. Floral jasmine flavor emerges and ushers in a medium bitterness to balance. Splash of light herbal tea. Hint of flower stems. Finishes dry. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: You know, that’s not half bad. The jasmine puts an exciting, new twist on what would just be another IPA.

This one poured an orange color. The aroma is jasmine, perfume, and some light citrus. The flavor contained some jasmine and oranges. The beer was alright but fairly bland and watery for an IPA. On to the next beer.
