Nice hazy tan coloured body with a good head atop the beer. Aromas of lighter hops, malt, caramel, sweetness and a faint hint of jasmine tea leaves. Medium-bodied; Nice hoppiness up front with a good malt finish and some herbal tastes throughout - some jasmine towards the end, although the flavour of the flower doesn’t really come out too much. Aftertaste is more malty than a normal IPA. Overall, a decent beer, but not great and the jasmine quality of this doesn’t show...so buy this for an IPA not for a jasmine-esque beer. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased at Whole Foods in Portland, Oregon on 03-March-2007.

Amber with a light off white head. Nice bready malts in the nose with a lightl floral, fruity and bitter hope note. Hints of jasmine. The jasmine shows itself more in the flavor with bitter and citrus touch. Bitter finish.

Curious stuff. And to answer what’s probably most people’s first question: Yes, the jasmine adds a great deal. Weather or not the result of the addition is strictly pleasing is up to some depate. The color of this is a rather hazy orange w/ a small heal of tiny white bubbles and and some spotty lace. Floral hop notes dominate. The jasmine is present here but really shows once tasted where it compliments the somewhat creamy texture but adds an unusual green vegetable note around the edges. This is definitely one worth trying as I feel the unique ingredient is placed well. Still, a world-class beer it is not.

Bottle at Fort Wayne Tasting courtesy of jsquire. Poured an off-white small head that mostly diminished, minimal lacing, no visible carbonation, transparent, and a golden and orange hue. Nose was malty, sweet, some citrus, and floral hops. Flavor was hoppy, mildly bitter, some citrus and a little sweet. Worthy of a try.

Amber golden color out of the bottle with a thin white head and a floral/herbal nose. Nice light IPA with honey sweetness, flowers (they say its jasmine and who am I to disagree), clover and orange rind in the finish. It starts to get a little cloying as it warms, but a very enjoyable variation on the IPA.

This bottled brew from Jeff Squire at a rating party poured a small sized head of finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange colored body and a fair lacing. The smooth aroma was hoppy and malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of hops and floral. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

bottle at the Fort Wayne tasting - Pours lightly hazy copper with a thin head. It has a light aroma of citrus and flowers. The taste is really different. The expected bitterness is there, though mild for the style, but you can also really taste the jasmine. I’d suggest trying it just for something different.

22 OZ bottle via Liquid Solutions (thanks!) .Pours a clear copper with a small white head. Not detecting much in the nose, just some subtle jasmine. Taste is strong jasmine and some citrus hops on an almost adequate malt backbone. This is actually very smooth and easy to drink..as long as you are a fan of Jasmine of course. Better than i was expecting. Refreshing and easy to drink. it is cold here today, but i bet this would be an awesome beer on a hot summer day!
