2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Orange in color, it emits a funky, grassy, metallic hop smell. Taste is neither good, nor consistent with an IPA. I will give it the benefit of the doubt and assume it tastes like jasmine. $4/22oz

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Tastes like an otherwise OK IPA, except that someone apparently spilled some perfume into it. A little bit of baby diapers in the finish. I couldn’t even finish the sampler.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of a flower garden and some orange. Flavor of floral hops and caramel malt with a soft, creamy mouthfeel. I find these beers brewed with flowers kind of intriguing.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma of floral (hop?) and malt. Ripe apricot color with a white head that doesn’t immediately film and leaves lace trace. Thin to medium body. Strong hint of jasmine flavor (kind of like the tea). A real kick in the mouth. Light fruity sweetness balanced by lots of bitter. Seems like more that 40 IBUs. The finish is nicely balanced sweet and bitter. Incredibly enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours crystal clear copper with a sturdy medium-sized bone-white head. Aromas are perfumy (see: flowers) with some underlying lemon citrus and caramel malt.
The jasmine perfume component is part sweet honeysuckle and part old-lady at church on Sunday.
This IPA is crisp and rather light on the palate. It sports a very balanced malt/hop flavor which is not very bitter, but dry with some lingering alcohol in the finish. The perfuminess is unmistakeable, but it’s done tastefully and delicately. Really well done.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice hazy tan coloured body with a good head atop the beer. Aromas of lighter hops, malt, caramel, sweetness and a faint hint of jasmine tea leaves. Medium-bodied; Nice hoppiness up front with a good malt finish and some herbal tastes throughout - some jasmine towards the end, although the flavour of the flower doesn’t really come out too much. Aftertaste is more malty than a normal IPA. Overall, a decent beer, but not great and the jasmine quality of this doesn’t show...so buy this for an IPA not for a jasmine-esque beer. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased at Whole Foods in Portland, Oregon on 03-March-2007.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber with a light off white head. Nice bready malts in the nose with a lightl floral, fruity and bitter hope note. Hints of jasmine. The jasmine shows itself more in the flavor with bitter and citrus touch. Bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Curious stuff. And to answer what’s probably most people’s first question: Yes, the jasmine adds a great deal. Weather or not the result of the addition is strictly pleasing is up to some depate. The color of this is a rather hazy orange w/ a small heal of tiny white bubbles and and some spotty lace. Floral hop notes dominate. The jasmine is present here but really shows once tasted where it compliments the somewhat creamy texture but adds an unusual green vegetable note around the edges. This is definitely one worth trying as I feel the unique ingredient is placed well. Still, a world-class beer it is not.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at Fort Wayne Tasting courtesy of jsquire. Poured an off-white small head that mostly diminished, minimal lacing, no visible carbonation, transparent, and a golden and orange hue. Nose was malty, sweet, some citrus, and floral hops. Flavor was hoppy, mildly bitter, some citrus and a little sweet. Worthy of a try.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Amber golden color out of the bottle with a thin white head and a floral/herbal nose. Nice light IPA with honey sweetness, flowers (they say its jasmine and who am I to disagree), clover and orange rind in the finish. It starts to get a little cloying as it warms, but a very enjoyable variation on the IPA.
