Bomber. Gold with a smear of white foam across the top. Sweet flowery nose--before the bottle cap hits the counter youíll understand where the name came from. Itís a no-doubt sweet soft nectar aroma. Medium to high carb, but itís a loving bubble. Nicest moutfheel I can think of in a beer off the top of my head. Very sweet attack and finish; the mid-palate has tons of malt presence and added sugars to boot. This beer genuinely has dried jasmine flowers in it, but I canít really say it tastes like jasmine, because I know if I read that I would have no idea what it might mean. So it tastes honey sweet, I guess you could say. Lovely stuff. Just one small step into sweetness for it to be truly refreshing, but I love these mildly sweet beers when the spirit moves.

This is a hard call. Itís an enjoyable ale, but the name had me looking forward to an IPA. Nice look, a clear amber/orange with a sustained white head. The aroma is predominantly sweet jasmine over a caramel malt. The flowery scents drown out any detectable hop presence. The flavor is a skillful blending of smoothly sweet malts and the perfumey jasmine. Nice taste. And there, in the finish at last, is an herbal and floral bitterness, some of it presumably from the hops. Good drink, and it may be an IPA, but if so, itís well cloaked in secrecy.

this beer has a great nose, of grassy flowery hops combined with...jasmine. sweet flowers that mingle nicely together. slightly more mild on the palate then expected but a good citrus hop flavor wiht the jasmine still sitting in the foreground of the palate. nicely balanced. propbably more of a pale ale then an ipa. good easy drinking.

I must admit that I was completely shocked and blown away by the level of jasmine in this IPA. Iíve had beers that had everything from basil in it to saffron, but never jasmine and man was it outstanding. Aroma is fruity, malty and slightly floral but suprisingly very little jasmine in the aroma. Appearance is orange in color, smallish head. Mouthfeel is full, round, very clean and smooth. Flavor is grapefruity hopps, sweet malts and the ever suprising jasmine. Iím salivating just thinking about the jasmine in this beer and I await the day when I go to Washington to buy this. Simply outstanding.

Clear golden body with a thin, white head. A very interesting aroma with that combination of hops and jasmine. Slightly sweet and floral with some mild hoppy pine, loads of jasmine flowers, some grapefruit and orange zest, mixed nuts, brown sugar and some grassy, minty hop character mixed in. The body is moderate and clean, with soft carbonation. The flavor is good, but not outstanding. The jasmine really gets in the way of the bitterness, producing slight disappointment in the lack of expected bitterness. The sweetness of the malt base and the floral jasmine and hops proffer considerable balance. An interesting interpretation of the style, but I like the bitter, unadulterating examples a little more.

Bottle from demolayfire in a super trade. Okay, this smells and tastes like a blue snowcone. The jas mine adds a nice flowery flavor and masks the hops almost completely. Syrupy and thick for a IPA but a strange brew indeed.

From a 22 oz. brown bomber bottle with no bottled/freshness date. Made a decent appearance, poured a cloudy orange with sediment, a small foamy head that settled into a thin lacing, medium carbonation overall. Had a nose of floral jasmine, amarillo hops, grain and sugary malts. A softly crisp, dryish and smooth light bodied mouthfeel, good drinkability. Jasmine and hoppy taste at first, flowers and an spicy tropical fruitiness with a light pine, the bitterness is mild and helps cut the sweetness from the malts, and a sweet flowery and fruity finish. A nice seasonal IPA from Elysian, a good summer IPA.

Bronze with a light head. Lively carbonation. Warm malts in the nose. Lightly floral, fruity and bitter. Hints of jasmine. The jasmine shows itself more in the flavor with bitter and citrus. Numbing palate almost. Bitter finish.

22oz Bomber; Malty aroma that is almost stale and metalic. Darker shade of orange for body with off white head. Flavor is somewhat dull but has a medium beled of malt and some citrus. Would of thought the alcohol content was higher or Iím tired. Dry citrus peel aftertaste on palate. Not bad but not the best refresment when itís 100 degrees at 7am.
