3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a dark amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Some floaters. Aromas of jasmine (duh) with some oranges. Tastes of jasmine, oranges, with almost a honey sweetness to it. I donít really get any bitterness out of this one (didnít really strike me as an IPA). Weaker body.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Clear, medium amber colored with a fair whitish head and decent lacing. Aroma is of moderate Jasmine and malt. Medium bodied. Jasmine comes through more in flavor, medium bodied with just enough hops to be noticeable. More of a flavored bitter than an IPA. Not bad to drink, not quite to IPA levels on the hops.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Copper color with small ivory head. Strong aroma that evokes a combination of flowers and hops. Light to medium bodied with a soft texture. Nice malt flavorings balanced with herbal/floral sensations, and a simple but lingering kick of hops in the finish. For me the flowers are a unique element to an IPA, but itís quite nice.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
First off underaprecciated beer. Pours amber color with little head. Smells of jasmine and hops just like I expect it to. Jasmien taste is prominent but unfortunatly too prominent and covers over the hop goodness. Kind of hard to drink a 22 of though as the jasmine flavor builds up over time and really becomes difficult to drink if you try to drink it to fact. A nice little number though.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: SEP 26, 2005 Pours a lightly hazy orange-copper color and is topped by a thin pale tan head. Whoa, the aroma is quite interesting, not at all what I was expecting. It almost has a candy character to it; like a jasmine honey candy. I really like the aroma on this, it is perhaps a tad sweet, but I am a sucker for jasmine tea, which I just love the aroma of. The taste is quite dry, with lots of herbal and floral notes to it; quite an interesting mix of hop and jasmine. The finish really reminds me of fresh jasmine infused green tea; a bit of tannic astringency, and a dry finish. There is a bit of bitterness in the finish as well, but it is not heavy handed for an IPA.
This appears to have relied on the Jasmine for the bulk of the aroma and flavor, it makes me wonder what a bit of a heavy handed American hop additions would have done. The Jasmine would not be as noticeable but it would have mixed nicely with citrusy hop notes. I definitely like this beer quite a bit, it is amazing how sweet the Jasmine makes the aroma seem, yet how, relatively, dry the beer actually is.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a golden honey color with a long lasting, thin, head. Aroma of jasmine and hops. My first sip i couldnít really taste the jasmine but i did get a good hop flavor. After the beer warmed a bit the jasmine became more pronounced. The hops were still there, but it seemed right when you thought it would get too hoppy, a nice flowery flavor filled the mouth. I would recommend this as a interesting version of Elysians already good IPA.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle: It pours a cloudy, gold color with a small white head and runny lacing. It has an ULTRA flowery aroma of jasmine and honeydew melon. Upon consuming this original beverage it has a strong perfume taste as well as aftertaste. Other tases were lavender and grape. The hops are missing which was interesting for an IPA. Is Jasmine really that strong? Apparently. It has low carbonation and a smooth feel. After a while it starts to get a little better, but I didnít like this one very much. It does get some points for originality. At least the flowers on the label are pretty though! And it was also "pretty" of Indiana_Red to share this one with me.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle Pours a hazy light orange/amber with a modest off white head. Coarse blocky lacing. Aroma is certianly flowery and sweet like honey. Jasmine I suppose, had I smelled Jasmine before I would know. Sweet honeysuckle is how I would describe the aroma. Remakably littel hops in the aroma. I dont notice the perfumy flavors lke my wife or beer sharing partner pinkzambia but it is there. More like a heavy lager to me. Hops are ci\onspicuously absent in the flavor as well. Particularly for the style. Low carbonation and smooth soft palate.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a cloudy light amber with a thin off white head. Mild aromas of hops mixed with a slight floral scent. The hops were medium strengh at best and I could detect the Jasmine, however Iím not sure I liked the taste, some malt that balanced out fairly well with the subdued hops. A neat idea but not somthing that would work itís way into the regular rotation.
