Pours a cloudy light amber with a thin off white head. Mild aromas of hops mixed with a slight floral scent. The hops were medium strengh at best and I could detect the Jasmine, however I’m not sure I liked the taste, some malt that balanced out fairly well with the subdued hops. A neat idea but not somthing that would work it’s way into the regular rotation.

Slightly hazed golden appearance. Sweet permue and light caramel aroma. Spicy bitterness, very similar to Immortal with a slight sugarry blueberry sweetness. Balances out very well.

Clear amber with minute floaties and a frothy off white head. Very floral aroma. The jasmine comes through well. Delicate jasmine, malt and hop flavor that moves into some tea-like tannin astringency. Interesting Pacific Rim recipe but the aroma beats the flavor. If the astringency could be eliminated and some body added, this could be a winner.

Light amberish gold, thin off white creamy head. Interesting nose with notes of fresh flowers, butterscotch cookies, and caramel, with lesser tones of grass and vanilla nut. Flavor was slightly rich with a soft hop bitterness up front, yet balances out with a sweetened malty backbone in the end. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, bittersweet finish. A unique IPA that’s far from your typical Pacific NW hop juice. Nice brew for sure...

Bottle: Clear golden, small frothy white head, splotchy lacing, moderate carbonation.   Very floral nose, and I mean VERY floral.   Assuming that its Jasmine I am smelling, and a whole lot of it.   Unfortunately it reminds me of a bathroom air freshener, as its very strong on the nose.   Fairly strong up front, very floral, with the IPA finally emerging on the backside.   This seems to have more emphasis on the flowers than the IPA, when I think it should be the other way around.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes with a nice hop touch, someone creamy as stated in the commercial description, but the Jasmine lingers well beyond.   Very interesting, but perhaps a bit too much Jasmine.   Either that or not enough IPA.   Turn it down or turn me over, cuz I am done!

Wow...lots of jasmine here, but the hops atually blend very well with it. Very perfumey and flowery beyond compare. I think maybe a touch overpowering but interesting and tasty nonetheless. Surprisingly well rounded and palatable with a nice tailing finish.

OBF 2004. Orange color. Orange creamy nose with perfume hop flavors... sharp floral flavors with some soap. A little bite up front and then finishing smooth.

Tap at brewpub, Fragrant nose, Jasimine dominates, though toffee malts in there too. Hazy golden orange color. No head. Sweet and bitter flavors. Jasimine and citrus, gf and orange. Thin body bitter finish, Tasty, nice touch with the jasmine, who’da thunk.

We are blessed in the NW with lots of great IPA’s to choose from this one isn’t one of them in my opinion. It is ok, not as much flavor to it as I am looking for in an IPA.

Medium orange color. Small head. Aroma is fruity, floral and malty. A medium bodied IPA flavored with jasmine flowers. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and floral. Lots going on in this one. It’s a nice IPA with the addition of jasmine flavors, adds a nice floral finish to the beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
