Elysian Avatar Jasmine IPA

At a tasting, thanks david, dark orange colour with streaks of pomegrande red, the aroma begins with a sheet of mellow jasmine then developing into a complex flowery nose with notes of grapefruit, peach and honey. Hoppy bitterness too strong and overpowering, some fruit and gflowers hiding in the corner, pleasant long bitter aftertaste.

At a tasting, thanks David, Honey orange color with a medium head, some off-flavors like mushrooms, some urine like acidity but some nice aromas of jasmine and perfums, mainly bitter like chest nuts bitterness, mandarine and caramel can be sensed in between, this IPA is a bit to much.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks David Cohen! 6.5%. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma of jasmine, flowers and hops. Spicy flavor of over-brewed jasmine tea and decent hop bitterness in the finish. A bit of malt in the background. Medium-bodied.

Haven’t had a jasmine IPA before and I thought it worked well. Pours a golden brown with plenty of bubbles and leaves a bit of lacing. Aromas of brown sugar and floral. The mouthfeel was a little too thick but I really enjoyed the flavors of orange and peppery hops mixing with sugar and jasmine.

I like this name because it sounds like a stripper - or maybe the girl from the movie "Aladdin." Either way it’s a pleasant thought. Sampled at SF International Beer Fest. Golden-amber color with a white head. Aroma is sweet malt, floral hops, and floral...um...flowers. Taste is caramel malt, hops, and lots of jasmine. Good stuff, if a little flowery for my taste. Palate average for the style.

22oz bottle. Pours cloudy amber in color with white head. Aroma floral hops and sweet. Taste floral bitter hops and caramel malt with bitter finish.

Draught at Coles, Buffalo, NY. Pours a clear golden-orange with a large diminishing frothy white head. Mild aroma of mostly hops, a bit floral, along with some fruit and malt in the background. Flavour’s the same: Hoppy and flowery with some caramel malt backing it up along with some grain and fruit. Decent bitter finish. Average bodied. Pretty good.

Tap @ Cole’s. Copper body, white head w. nice lacing. Nose is pretty restrained - piney hops & light malt, some herbal strawberriness. Flavor is nice piney hops - herbal & rosemary. A bunch of early spring fruits. Nice strong bitterness at the very finish.
