Oakes (8058), gone rambling, Vietnam Dec 7, 2007 Hazy orangey-amber. The aroma is jasmine with a caramelized maltiness in the background. Floral and hoppy, with a beautiful sweetness underneath that allows these characteristics to flow. Finishes with an appetizing bitterness. argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA Jul 26, 2004 (draft) Off-white head atop lightly hazed amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, jasmine. Taste is medium sweet, orange, grapefruit, light jasmine. Light-medium body. Relatively easy-drinking IPA. hopdog (5534), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 2, 2005 Poured a dark amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Some floaters. Aromas of jasmine (duh) with some oranges. Tastes of jasmine, oranges, with almost a honey sweetness to it. I don’t really get any bitterness out of this one (didn’t really strike me as an IPA). Weaker body. hopscotch (5440), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Oct 6, 2006 Updated: Nov 6, 2006Draft...Mid-GABF ’06 at Falling Rock Tap House, Denver... Hazy orange ale with a mid-sized, tight, white head. Terrific retention. Reserved, citrusy, floral aroma with a whisper of biscuit. Excellent balance in flavor... evenly malty, bitter and tangy; straight across the board. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Dry finish. I didn’t pick up on any jasmine in the aroma. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Jun 15, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of a flower garden and some orange. Flavor of floral hops and caramel malt with a soft, creamy mouthfeel. I find these beers brewed with flowers kind of intriguing. CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA Nov 19, 2007 Bottle sampled on 9/15/07: Transparent golden bronze with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of floral, lightly-fruity, grainy malty and grapefruity hops. Body starts lightly sweet, toasty and pale malty with some spicy bitter hoppy notes toward a drier floral finish. An interesting IPA. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 9, 2006 GABF-on tap-pours a white head with hazy amber color. Aroma is jasmine-floral. Taste is more malt than hops.
