GABF 06. Light orange. Aroma is flowery, and citrus hops. Taste is citrus hops, some floral notes from the jasmine, nice amount of malt. Medium bodied, very good.

From a 22 oz. brown bomber bottle with no bottled/freshness date. Made a decent appearance, poured a cloudy orange with sediment, a small foamy head that settled into a thin lacing, medium carbonation overall. Had a nose of floral jasmine, amarillo hops, grain and sugary malts. A softly crisp, dryish and smooth light bodied mouthfeel, good drinkability. Jasmine and hoppy taste at first, flowers and an spicy tropical fruitiness with a light pine, the bitterness is mild and helps cut the sweetness from the malts, and a sweet flowery and fruity finish. A nice seasonal IPA from Elysian, a good summer IPA.

On draft at Elysian in Seattle 7/11/07. Golden pour witha big frothy white head. The most impressive thing about this beer is the unmistakeable big floral aroma from the jasmine, accompanied by some citrus and honey. Medium, smooth body with a slightly resinous tang as well. The jasmine is evident in the flavor as well, and overall it is a bit sweeter than most IPAs, with only a mildly dry finish. Unusual, but enjoyable in its own way, but wouldn’t do everyday for me.

Bottle. Wel, I do not get this style, the heavily falvored IPA. Having said that, this one is a good version of this approach. Jasmine is noticeable in aroma as well as flavor profile, but not overpowering. There is a nice floral hoppy touch to it and a bit of honey,. Finishes not too biter and gets better when it warms a bit.

Draft at RNH. Pours a honey amber body with an off white head. Floral earth y notes with a hint of honey and a dry bitter earth character and some light tea notes.

From a 22oz Bottle. Pours a somewhat hazy, naval orange tinged golden color with a finger of soapy white head. The Jasmine flowers come through strongly in the nose, bringing an herbal tea-like dimension to the bouquet. Mild orange zest hops accompany softly. Medium-light bodied, mildly carbonated mouthfeel. Light caramel malt flavors with some orange zest and more tea. As the tea fades, some grassy hops become more apparent, lingering gently into the finish with a hint of earthy biscuit malt.

Bomber. Orange color with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of floral and mild pine hops with jasmine. Soft and sweet flavors with restrained hops which allow the jasmine to be noticed. Medium bodied with smooth carbonation. Reminds me a bit *too* much of tea, but a pleasant experience.

Gold orange color with a thin lasting head. Aroma of light mats with some floral jasmine. Lightly malts with a subtle breadiness accompanied by a lightly floral hoppy finish. The jasmine leaves a pleasant clean floral herbal flavor in the mouth. I like the drinkability on this one, although light, it is extremely pleasant.
