BillKismet (2760) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 25, 2012
Tanned body, crisp head. Skunky, but nice grapefruity and co-humulone smells waft from the glass. Grassy body, green, fresh, and reminiscent of late, warm, lazy summer days. Dry, extract sugar finish.

Zeswaft (1183) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 21, 2012
Light gold and cloudy with a frothy white head. Tropical hop aroma. Flavor is somewhat muted up front but then the tropical and citrus comes in halfway through. Smooth and well balanced. Another subtly different hoppy beer from Elysian.

Hazy blonde. Rocky head. Lychee and bright fruit aroma. Moderate bitterness with light tropical fruit notes. Minimal malt character and quite a refreshing finish.

Draft @ Elysian Fields. Clear gold. Nice lace. Poignant grassy hop citra is so nice. Leaves. Grasses, fun resinous bitterness. Citra is its own thing that’s for sure. Easy quaffable good and characterful array of hops in pale malt backbone.

Hazy orange, white head. Has a juniper heavy aroma, lemon and berry notes, nice and fruity. Dry toasty malty backbone with nice tropical fruity tones, lots of juniper, lemon zest and spruce bitterness as it finishes. Excellent, I love juniper and it blends very well with the Sorachi Ace.

Draft at...wait for it...The Triple Door. Pours a slightly hazy bright medium gold with a thin but moussy white head. Even in a frozen shaker glass (blecch), the nose shows through with some dimension; the woodsy notes from the juniper give it a nice gin-like sharpness augmented by great juicy grapefruit and pine from the hops. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty crisp mid-palate with a nice clean bite right through the finish. Very refreshing APA.

riversideAK (4566) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - OCT 6, 2011
Pale ale with juniper. INteresting. Nose is nice and citrusy with lemon grass. sorachi ace hops, some juicy fruit notes, and dry pale malt with light sweetness. Pours straw golden, nice creamy head and good lace. The flavor is nice and citrusy with lemon, tropical fruit notes, light dry juniper, and light dry pale malt. Dry, quenching, and uniquely hoppy pale ale.
