2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Gromit (479) - Port Orchard, Washington, USA - JUN 27, 2004
Man, I love this brewery, but this bottle isn’t doing a thing for me. It’s quite sour, almost like a lambic, and very yeasty. Fruity yet has a vegtable aftertaste.

(Bottle) Pours a cloudy orange color with a white head. Has flavors of grapes, malt, and apples.
3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 3fourths (6406) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 29, 2004
Big sweet aroma of apples and pears, resembling Ephemere. Bright orange with a white head. Taste of pears and grapes, but not robust or full. Frothy mouth feel, but lacking a strong flavor, leaving you tasting the carbonation, the yeast and just a hint of the apples present in the aroma.

The aroma reminds me of Ephemere. Mostly apples, with a little citrusy hops in there. Flavour is hoppy, yeasty. Palate is light and typical.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 leitrim65 (400) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 15, 2004
Hazy dark golden color. A mighty aroma of lemon, yeast, and maybe even some spice. I thought I was in for a great one but was somewhat disappointed. Fairly smooth and creamy up front. Then the lemon/citrus flavors kick in, giving it a harsh bitter finish.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 TimE (2068) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JAN 9, 2004
The infamously named triple called ‘Lying Bitch’ (as the waitress told me), due to the high ABV, but really only 6.9% which is kinda weak for the style.
A nose of lemon, ginger and unidentifiable spice. Sweet malty orange taste, nice crisp dry finish.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TAR (2236) - Lafayette, Colorado, USA - SEP 16, 2003
UPDATED: JAN 31, 2007 1 pt., 6 oz. Toasted lemon. Gorgeous fluffy off-white foam. Aroma of perfumey alcohol, peaches, and peppery esters. Herbal undertones with shades of sea air, melon, and must. Cleanly phenolic and leafy, but papery and oxidized. Mouthfeel starts fluffily creamy, quickly turning grainy and medium (yet substantially)-bodied. Exquisitely flavorful with fleets of cane sugar, pale malts, and white grape. Tropical fruit acidity with traces of must and white pepper. Finishes simultaneously cottony, musty, and dry with drops of juicy, floral noble hops, a gentle cleansing note of alcohol, and a faint toasty backdrop. Yeast pour rounds out the sweetness and adds more mustiness and dryness. A bit dirty, but passable.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Murphy (1759) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - MAR 8, 2003
One of the better beers from Elysian that I've had. Malty with minimal hops and a decent taste for a tripel. Nothing to write home about, but not bad overall.
