Belgian-style Tripel. A twist on the French expression "Bete Noire", Bete Blanche is extremely drinkable, blonde and somewhat treacherous.

650ml bottle pours a slightly hazy golden color with 2 fingers of white head that settled quite quickly leaving some spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is cereal grains with some yeast and spices. Taste is fruity and malty sweet with some yeast and spices and a lingering hoppy bitter finish. Medium body and lively carbonation leave a nice mouth feel. Not one of the better tripels that I have tasted, merely acceptable.

Draft @ St. Augustines. Clear gold. Doesn’t look great in taster glass. Sweet white flesh fruit, white plum, loquat, honeydew. Flavors are honeyed wildflower. Soft palate. Not an Elysian classic but nice beer.

Bubbly gold with thin white head. The aroma is mildly estery, but bread and grass dominate, with some sulfur in the background. Taste is the same, with a bit more bitterness than expected. Overall, fairly drinkable, but I wouldn’t call this a tripel.

Bomber. Pale honey golden colored in appearance with lots of creamy white head. Aroma is mostly cloves, honey, barley and yeast. Taste opens up with ripe bananas, cloves, brown sugar and malt along with a slightly off-balanced alcohol note in the background. The body is creamy with robust carbonation and finishes dry with more malt and cloves. Decent but could definitely use more complex fruit flavors and a higher ABV.

Clear golden color/ fleeting white head. Pils malt, candi sugar, earthy, belgian spice aromas with mild celery. Medium body with average co2. Lightly dry pils malt, straw flavors with mildly sweet candi sugar, belg spices--good American Tripel

22oz. Bottle: Sweet aroma of Belgian yeast, spices, light coriander, light banana, and some pear. Poured gold/yellow/slight amber in color with a medium-sized, white head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer as well as around the edges. Clear. Sparkling. Good lacing. Some tiny particles. Flavor is medium sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of banana, hop, Belgian yeast, clove, light coriander, and some fruit. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Belgian yeast, clove, coriander, finish is lightly dry. 7.5%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

Bomber. Nose of honey, light bread, light vanilla, light mineral, heavy Belgian yeast, sunny pale malt. Pours a pale blonde which fakes golden with a creamy, luscious white head. Semi-dry taste, rich malt with a lightly bready and malty aftertaste that warms every so slightly. Rich, minerally yeasty presence right at the fore. Medium, soothing body has almost an herbal coating/silkiness. Very enjoyable tripel.

Clear amber pour, frothy white head. Subdued smell earthy and fruity, like overripe. Taste slight alcohol, bitter but fruity, like berries without all the sugar. I didn’t like so much at first, but it snuck up on me and I finished the glass happily.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a huge creamy white head that lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was sweet, bready and musty with notes of sugar and faint fruits, banana and clove. The flavor was tangy and bready with notes of candied golden fruits and must. The finish was long and tangy with lingering sugar and bread. Fairly full bodied. Nice.
