Bottle… Post RBSG ’08 O-Town/Vero Beach Throwdown Chapter 8… Hazy, light amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Very discreet, malty aroma. Medium-bodied with tingly carbonation. Leans on the bitter side of balance. Lengthy, modestly bitter finish.

On tap at the all three locations and in bombers over the years. Had up to a 3 yr aged. Pours a darker amber with some lighter orangey red tones to it. Piney dark fruit and malted aroma that’s fairly heavy, alochol is noticable. Flavor is big and malty with lots of fruit intertwined with a thick bready yeast body. Medium to thick. Fairly carbonated allowing spice to bounce across the tongue. Finishes heavy in the piney citrus realm borderlining an IPA. Good stuff! With aged, the hops mellow fairly and the plummy dark fruit malts stant out a bit more. Recommended.

Mild hop and malt aroma. Sweet caramel and malt in the flavor, some light, dried fruits, and malt. The alcohol is perceivable. Low carbonation. Smooth, full palate. Solid all around.

Pours a lightly hazy dark orange color, with a small off white head. Smells of a pretty decent juicy hop presence, with an evident malt character, and some yeast. The flavor has a good amount of hops as well, providing a sharp bitterness on the palate. Some malt and citrus are their for some complexity. Lots of bready yeast in the finish which I didnt care for much, but still drank pretty nice. Hoppier than I thought it would be.

[1309-20080418] 1pt6floz bottle. Sweet faint notes of hoppy juicy orange and sweet malt in the aroma. Slightly hazy, light brown orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Dark sweet malt flavour with roasted hops and a sweet malted yeast aftertaste. Medium-full body has a bitter finish. NOt expected but nice and drinkable.

Overheard: "It’s kind of like chewing on a marigold but it’s bitter."
