The rainbow bridge made from fire, air and water, used by the gods to travel from the world tree, Yggdrasil, to the heavens. Asgard. Brewed with Pale malt and small amounts of Munich and Crystal malts. Bittered with Centennial, finished with Amarillo and Styrian Goldings hops. Strong, hoppy, and smööth

Bottle into snifter glass, golden-coppery color with white head. Aroma notes of heavy malt sweetness and light citrus/fruity hop sweetness. Taste adds more pine/citrus hop bitterness, caramel, slight nuttiness and light herbal/spice. Medium-heavy body, low-moderate carbonation, sticky, thick with roast fruity/citrus bitter finish. Very tasty winter ale, great tasty hop balance makes this more interesting than the usual sweet spice bomb.

Finally trying Elysian’s Bifrost ale on tap at CBB Bud. A clear reddish orange pour with a sweet fruity nose. Medium bodied and smooth the taste is spice and orange peel with a hearty dose of hops. Pretty good.

Bottle. Brewdog, Leeds. Hazy, lumpy, dark gold. Film of sticky, white head. Now there’s sticky banana, and there’s sticky banana. This is good, sticky banana. Juicy, sweet, pineapple hop. It’s all very sweet, and chewy. Any bitterness kicks in late on. Soft, toffee, thick, chewy palate. Finishes light, chewy bitter. Tasty gear. Sweet, and chewy thick. Quite delicious.

Poured from a 12. Aroma has a slight sweetness to it. Flavor has a bit of a spruceness to it. It is slightly sweet with a bitter finish. Is not overspiced so is very well balanced.

from Mondial de la Bière 2013, Mulhouse - murky dark amber-orange beer with particles floating within; firm and long lasting beige foam; beautiful lacework; fair fruity hoppiness of melon and citrus; full-bodied, light sticky, yet velvety palate; moderate carbonation, pretty fair sweetness lasting in the finish; light bitter and with a long aftertaste of litchies and melon

Tastes and smells like a hardy IPA. Thick creamy head that clings to sides of the glass. Pretty good.

Poured from a bomber into a tumbler in late 2013. A: Amber/red. See through. 1 finger head. S: Sweet citrus, pear. T: Complex. Bitterness, citrus, flower. O: I wanted to like this one as Elysian is local, but this was too bitter for me so I poured it down the drain. I could not get the taste out of my mouth. Unbalanced.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2015 Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a cloudy orange color with a medium sized creamy white head that lingered and left exceptional lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy tropical fruits. The flavor was very sweet and sugary with pineapple, passionfruit, guava and a hint of pepper. Very long tropical fruit finish with bozziness coming though. The booziness grows and begins to distract. I liked it less as it warmed up. Moderately full bodied. Tasty.

Bottle from Safeway. Light amber in color. Lightly sweet malty nose. Some maltiness up front with a bit of grapefruit peel. A bit of alcohol as well. Decent, but nothing special.
