3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Chocolate body with browned dunkel head. Wondrous rich chocolate coffee percolates up a splendid olfactory experience. However, the milk coffee body that runs a bit thin.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Elysian Fields. If you enjoy a beer on nitro, please do feel free to add .3 or .4 to this score. It just never works for me as well as it does for the nitro fans, so that’s probably enough math to offset the difference in taste. Pours black with that surging, settling, tv commercial nitro stout look. Dense chalky dark tan head on top of that. Nice roasty nose. Creamy, flattened out body. Nitro! Roasty, chocolatey, chalky mid-palate. Mild black bread finish. Tasty beer, tons of flavor trying to get out from under the nitro. Not at all bad given the pouring method.
