3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Nena (963) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 24, 2011
Golden pour, white head. Ginger and pumpkin aroma. Tastes of spicy ginger and has a solid background of pumpkin, mild grain and straw. This is pretty simple, but uses the ginger excellently. It complements the pumpkin and doesn’t overpower. A very nice lighter seasonal.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 NobleSquirrel (2677) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 3, 2011
Draft at Falling Rock during the Pumpkin Event. Yep, a ginger beer. Lots of ginger beer. Pours a pretty clear gold with white head. Nose is a wallop of ginger and light citrus. On taste, firm bitterness and strong ginger notes. Slightly warming overall. The ginger in this is fantastic and keeps from being overwhelming, somehow. Don’t gather much pumpkin, but whatever. Good beer!
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2010
On tap at the 2009 Great Pumpkin Festival, Cambridge Brewing Company, Cambridge MA on 31 October 2009 at 4.5%. Quite pale gold colour. Not much evident "pumpkin" character. Not a huge amount of ginger in the aroma either. More of a bready/cereal character reminiscent of muesli. Ginger is more apparent in the flavour but still quite subtle. Slightly metallic, flinty (but soft) mouthfeel. Overall perfectly acceptable but lacking in excitement.

Draft at Iron Hill West Chester. Poured amber in color with a medium sized white head. Aroma of wet grain, ginger, spices. Taste is bready with some light ginger, spices and lightly hoppy finish. Pretty thin overall. Not my thing.

draft at Iron Hill WC... very little pumpkin flavor, taste more of the ginger and malts... after taste is terrible, not a fan of Elysian when they use Czech Saaz
