Copper pour with average white head. Nose citrus with a surprising bit of caramel. Flavor is well balance of slightly toasted malt and a up front rush of citrus. Finish is long lasting of bitterness.

Bottle from Boise Co-op. A return to the classic NW IPA. Clear, light amber with a soft, sticky off white head. Resinous hops lead the aroma, some sweet caramel malts underneath. Taste follows with up front hop bitterness, slick, smooth, sweet malts, and then more lingering bitterness. What I remember early IPAs being. Tasty.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours Clear glden with a thick off-white head and a toffee aroma. There is a hearty pale malt flavor with a very bitter finish. Interesting hop profile.

Bomber from the Happy Valley (Portland) CostCo. Pours dark translucent gold with a beige head. Aroma is mixed hop - earthy, citrus, pine. Med body at least. Flavor is very hoppy, and the malt renders it less than dry. Itís pretty bitter, and quite hoppy. Heavy duty stuff.

keanex (1763) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - AUG 15, 2016
Appearance: Light hazy in a light amber body, light khaki head.
Aroma: Orange zest, some sweet malts, bit of caramel, bready.
Taste: Orangy, moderately bitter, slightly thin malt base but bit of bread and malts that linger.
Palate: Medium bodied, moderately carbonated.
Overall: Solid IIPA, but I think itís a little past itís prime.

Bottle from Costco. Golden color with a thick white head. Aromatic with citrus fruits and piney hops, sweet and resin filled. Sturdy hop taste, citrus sweet and moderately bitter. Chewy resin packed tail. Overall a hefty delivery of hop flavors. Good.

From bomber. Pours hazy amber color with a white head and rings along the glass with every sip. Aroma and taste of resiny pine hops with some caramel in the background. Balanced bitter and sweet, biased towards the bitter. Medium full mouthfeel.

Centennial and cascade with a malt back bone fill my nose in this hazy orange brew with almost no head. Full body and Sweet malty up front with low carb. The after taste brings in the bitterness with a lingering fresh green grass flavor. There is a slight warmth as well.

Bottle from Elizabeth Station, Bellingham, WA
Hazy light amber color. Itís a bit dank, more fruity character, among which sweet oranges dominates, and it has sweet toffee flavor.
By the book IIPA. Very good.
