Draught @ Elysian Fields. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Fruity malty and very hoppy citrus aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Long warming hoppy bitter finish with a long bitter aftertaste with lots of grapefruit.

Opaque peachy colour with a thick, pristine head. Big deep centennial woodiness with a hint of grapefruit. The malts are pale but here they’re fat, rich and tangy, more like a glazed pastry than the usual breadiness. Rich, rich bitterness is woody and slightly cascadey. Malts are again clean but rich. Yeast adds some roundness to the body, and there is a firm shot of alcohol late. It doesn’t really help the taste but it does remind you not to take this beer lightly.

Tap at Blind Tiger. Amber red colour with lighter orange highlights. Aroma is very fruity and loaded with mango, peach, and passionfruit. Very tropical and fruity. A kiss of juicy fruitiness. Flavour is also great, rich sweet citrus hops, tangerine and orange. Very low cohumulones giving is a soft bitter finish. Really nicely made IIPA.

Sample at the Pike Street location. This beer pours a murky yellow color with a medium thin and foamy white head that dissipates slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Citrusy hops aroma with notes of malt and caramel. Medium-bodied and moderately bitter with floral hops and citrus flavors balanced by some bready malt and caramel. The finish is resiny hops with a lingering bitterness left over. Pretty good all around.

At Elysian Fields. Pours a hazy orange with a great head. Served in a snifter. Awesome aromas of hops - floral, pine with a light pale malt backbone. Nice hopcentric IIPA. Bitterness up front is followed by more bitterness. Lots of pine, grapefruit rinds, and floral hops. Long lingering dry resiny hops. A really awesome PNW IIPA.

Tap at BT. Nice DIPA, and one of the better beers I have had from Elysian. Pours a very hazy almost bright orange with a nice thin lasting white head and great lace in the chalice. Aroma is piny, almost mint-like, tons of c-hops, sappy and resinous. Orange zest and more mint on the flavor, citrus, light grapefruit and pine needles. Nice tacky raw bitterness, but it isnt too strong actually. Good smooth finish- nice solid DIPA.
